Christmas

So, I know Christmas was a week ago but here are some pitures from our day. Oh, but first, Bruce's birthday is on the 22nd so for his birthday Alicia's friend Mersaydi brought her dog, Gracie over to play. She is a Bloodhound puppy and Bruce thinks she is the coolest thing ever.

If any of you know us very well, you know that we love the movie, "Grumpy Old Men." Now Bruce (our grumpy old man) has a grumpy old hat!!

During the days before Christmas we got quite a bit of snow. So, on Christmas day we got to go out and the four of us shoveled snow. Except for Alicia, she built us a snowman.

OOPS!! I forgot to turn it first so you will have to turn instead!!

Then, in the evening, the missionaries came over for pie and games. This is Elder Johnsen, and Elder Little. They are fun to be around. We will be saying goodbye to Elder Little soon, he goes home to Arizona in four weeks.

Wisdom Teeth

On Friday Alicia had the wonderful opportunity to have her wisdom teeth out. She was absolutely scared to death but Dr. Holm was so nice as was his nurses, that everthing went perfectly well. She had two pulled and the other two had to be cut out. She is really sore and is still tired from the whole ordeal. She is healing nicely and cant wait til she can each chips and salsa again - the mashed potatoes-cream of wheat-yogurt diet is getting old!!

The BIG 40

Oh, boy. Yesterday I turned the BIG 40. It's weird cause I always thought I would dread this day but it wasn't that bad. Bruce panned a get together with a bunch of my friends and it was a lot of fun. I got all the usual gag gifts like a package of attends, baby food, reading glasses and such. But one of my favorites was a poem that my 15 year old nephew wrote for me while traveling from Utah yesterday. Here it is:

Many short years have gone and past,

40 years have gone by fast.

All the times that you once had,

you've stuck it out through the good and the bad.

Through trial and error, you've prevailed,

and along the way picked up some stories to tell.

All those tales of when you were and kid,

all those silly, great things that you did.

Being who you are now, would you take anything back?

Life's greatest lesson was learned from the bad.

I care about and love you, now what we all want to say,

our dear Michelle, Happy 40th b-day.

I thought it was very sweet. For any of you who read this that were at my birthday "WAKE" I just want to say thank you for being such great friends.

What fun

Last week me and my girls went out and I took some pictures of them. First I took Alicia to Old Town and snapped a good 200 pictures, then the three of us took a trip out to the flat (Bruce's dad's farm land) and to Malad Pass Camp Ground on Friday. It was so much fun spending time with them. I feel like we got some really good pictures. Aren't they beautiful!!!!(obviously not a question)

Homecoming Week

This week was homecoming week at Highland High School. Wednesday was Go Wild day. Here is Heidi dressed up for that day. I will put other pictures on of her and Alicia as soon as I can get a hold of Alicia's camera.

Homecoming at Highland

Tonight was the Homecoming dance and Highland High School. Alicia got to go to this dance with her friend Robb Holmes. They have been friends for a long time and planned on going to this dance together since about July. Niether of them were feeling very good today but you couldnt tell because they both looked so awesome. The other boys are: Robb's twin brother, Matt, and their friend Jacob.

Pictures of the family

Here are some pictures of our trip to Yellowstone National Park. We went up on Friday night and came home on Sunday afternoon.

Here are two videos. One is of an elk up in Mammoth and the other is of Ginger-we are at Yellowstone lake and she is not sure what to think of the waves.

Trip to Yellowstone National Park

So we took a weekend getaway to Yellowstone to see the elk while they are in the rut. We traveled through the park during the day and ended up at Mammoth in the evening. There were several big elk there but there were two that were pretty evenly matched up. The smaller of the two kept going over and trying to steal cows from the big one. Boy would he get upset. It is a cool experience and everyone who loves wild life should go see this at least once in thier lives. It is an ecxperience.

Heidi

So, most of you know that Heidi hates her curly hair. Since she started high school she has started straightening it everyday. Here is a picture of what she looks like with straight hair. She is very beautiful.

Home Coming

Today is Pocatello High School's Homecoming dance and Alicia got to go. Her date is named Connor Hadley and he is a senior at Pocky High. Before the dance she went to her friends house and got her hair done. Her name is Adrianne and Alicia just adores her. It was fun for Alicia and as you can see she looks beautiful and her date is a dream(And he is as nice as he is cute).

Braces Finally Off

Well Heidi finally got her braces off a week before school started!! She also got Guido from Cars on her retainer.

Recently our blog was deleted because it was thought to be a spam blog. So we are starting all over again!
