where did the time go

Ok, so it's March and I have Valentines stuff on my blog and the last thing I posted was in January or something. Anyway, now I have to catch up so you know what is going on in our lives. Ok, first, It was eighties day at Highland High School so Heidi and Alicia dressed up. I didn't get a pic of Alicia but holy cow does this chick take you back or what?! (Of course she does if you were ever actually there in the first place!!)

Alicia and Connor went to the Sweetheart ball together (Cute)

My niece, Amanda, her husband, Dustin and their little girl, Kenna came to visit for a couple of days! (Awwwwwe)

Also, on March 5th Bruce and I flew to Hawaii for a week. We stayed on the Island of Kauai at the Grand Hyatt. It was so awesome and beautiful. This is a picture of us on our sunset, whale watching cruise. Excuse the hair, it is windy on the ocean!! I loved it so much.

This was the view from our room. It was so beautiful. It rained every day except two but we didn't care, it was amazing anyway.

The grounds of the Hyatt are huge and there are flowers and different plants everywhere. This is a gecko we found along the sidewalk there.

A snail just after a rain storm.

Hibiscus

Two of the birds they keep at the hotel in the foyer and the dude that cares for them.

On Kauai they have a grand canyon. I thought I was going to die after that trip because the road had my head twisting and turning along with my stomach.

There are chickens everywhere on this Island. They have become pests for the locals there but for us they were a fun novelty. These were at one of the tourist attractions.

Heidi could have totally been in the 80's. How fun! LOVE the Hawaii pictures. It looks like you had a fun time!

Yeah! I have been checking your blog looking for Hawaii pictures. So glad you guys were able to go. So much envy here.
Chickens roaming amuck- who knew?
Crazy.
Heidi looks great. Now all she needs is a few sweat bands and pink leather high tops with two velcro stips at the top. Do they even make high tops anymore? Maybe they're just called hicking boots now. Who knows.
We need to get together again SOON!

Man! I want to be in Hawaii although now that it's almost spring, Idaho may be a bit more bearable. Heidi looked great! Does that mean they'll have 90's days when my boys are in high school?
